In 2005 LLC "А+А" (Tula) has made an attempt creations a without barrel pistol with a magazine feeding for a traumatic electrocartridge 18х45Т. Six - charge pistol "BOSS. has been designed, control of shooting from which was made by a thumb of the right hand (similar as "UDAR" of the Kirov factory "Mayak").

Tests by shooting of a pistol "BOSS" have revealed its following disadvantages:

• discomfort of shooting (unlike the "UDAR" which is not having recoil, "turns out" a hand);
• insufficient durability of the monolithic polymeric handle (has cracked after 300 shots).

In 2006 the works on the without barrel 6 - charge pistol "BOSS" have been frozen and works on creation of the cartridge and a pistol for it} with a magazine feeding have started from nothing. The traumatic electrocartridge 18х45 with a polymeric case was developed in which the big disadvantage before being cartridges of this caliber . somersaults of the bullets in flight - was eliminated.

In a cartridge manufactured by LLC "А+А" the bullet in flight is stabilized, that allows to define precisely its energy parameters, thus the case can have not a directing "barrel" part before a head part of a bullet.

As to a pistol LLC "А+А" has gone on a way of minimization of dimensions of the without barrel weapon at caliber and a unit of fire not smaller, than at analogues.

So "KORDON" was born: the Compact WEAPON for Repulse an Attack.

The initial name of "KORDON" was " the Shooting fist " as in this model all is subordinated to simplicity and minimization: absence of the integral indicator of a battery charging level, trigger guard, ЛЦУ, a horizontal located battery CR-2, a construction of a cartridges follower with a spring, etc. - on the one hand and safety of using - presence of automatic and mechanical safety locks - on the other hand. The mechanical safety lock is located behind for convenience of operating by the weapon as the right-handed person, and the lefthander.

Patented and therefore an original mechanism of an extraction, functionally using a gnowing-through in a case of an electrocartridge and its displacement back by pressing a trigger, has allowed to minimize thickness of weapon "KORDON". The trigger taken the "weapon" place, has increased comfort of shooting up to a comprehensible level.

Durability of the half-grips is provided by the powerful armature which has been filled in a polymeric material and invisible outside (on one sample it is shot without detection of defects more than 1000 cartridges, including - ten highpowered). Necessity of maintenance of safety factor of power pack, many times exceeding a resource of "KORDON", and also the length and calibre of a cartridge 18х45 have predetermined appearance of the weapon.

For check of batteries charging level, "KORDON" is completed by the test-cartridge with a transparent case. In the future it is represented expedient to sell the test-cartridges separately as they can not be necessary in connection with a huge resource of battery CR-2 - more then 10 thousand shots.

Absence of "missing" of a bullet in a bullet aperture is checked up by thousand shots of "KORDON". If even once such missing has been detected, this aperture would be .opened", and a place of the half-grips fastening would be transferred below (of cource, to the detriment of length).

"KORDON" - the pocket weapon and is intended for carrying not in a holster, and, for example, in a breast pocket of a shirt. Thus, "KORDON" is supernumerary, commensurable with a pack of cigarettes, but powerful "lengthening" of a fist.

Besides electrocartridges manufactured by LLC "А+А", the without-barrel weapon "KORDON" can shoot by electrocartridges 18х45Т manufactured by Federal State Unitary Enterprise "FNPC" "NIIPH" or LLC "NOT ".
